What Landfall does
It carries your household’s money forward, one year at a time, and tells you whether it lasts.
Landfall takes what your household holds, earns and expects to spend, and follows it one tax year at a time, April to April, until the last person in the plan reaches the plan’s end. Each year it adds income, applies growth, takes off spending, works out tax and moves the balances into the next year.
The answer is the first figure on the plan: whether the money lasts the lifetimes the plan expects, or the year it runs short. A figure for what is left at the end follows it, and everything else on the page is that answer in more detail.
It is built for one household of one or two adults planning for themselves. There is no third person and no adviser view.
Landfall informs. It shows you what your own figures imply and leaves the decision with you. For a decision about your own money, speak to a regulated financial adviser.
