Landfall began as one household’s own retirement plan. The tools we tried either hid their working or kept the plan on somebody else’s server.

So we built a planner that shows where every figure came from and keeps the plan on your own device. Then we made it an app.

Landfall is the moment a voyage ends in sight of shore. Retirement planning is steering towards that point with enough on board to arrive comfortably.

The app exists to answer one question. Will we make landfall?

Four things, and the apps are tested against each of them.

• Every tax figure is a dated record with its source, and nothing is stated from memory.
• Your plans stay on your device. There is no account, no server and no tracking.
• Landfall informs. It never tells you what to do with your money, and it points to regulated advice where a decision needs it.
• The projection is the same on every device and on both tiers. Nothing in the numbers is held back.
